Ms. Anastacia Kelley is a high school Social Studies teacher at Angeline Academy of Innovation, where she teaches AP Psychology, Psychology I and II, and U.S. History. She has spent 17 years in education, teaching students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, including self-contained ESE and gifted settings. Her teaching experience spans grades two through five, sixth-grade U.S. History, middle school Social Studies electives, U.S. History Honors, and Advanced Placement courses. Ms. Kelley has been part of Angeline Academy since its opening three years ago.
Ms. Kelley serves as the High School Social Studies Department Chair and the school’s National History Day coordinator. She is a mentor teacher, has mentored a student intern, and has written curriculum for sixth-grade U.S. History. In 2017, she coached an ExploraVision team that earned second place in a global competition and advanced to Washington, D.C. She has also been nominated twice for Teacher of the Year at Sanders Memorial.
Ms. Kelley believes in student-centered learning that balances academic rigor with strong relationships and innovative instructional design. She is inspired by her students—by watching them struggle, persevere, and experience meaningful “aha” moments—and by the privilege of seeing many of them grow from elementary learners into confident young adults.
Outside of school, Ms. Kelley enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Brian, for 19 years and is the proud mother of three daughters—Scarlett, a graduate of Pasco County Schools, Kieran, an eleventh grader, and Fiona, an eighth grader. She also enjoys reading, traveling, visiting theme parks, paddleboarding, and spending time at the beach.
