Thank you, Suncoast Credit Union and Duke Energy, for your support in our programs!

Suncoast Credit Union is committed to investing in student learning and making a lasting, positive impact in schools. These awards support school-wide projects that use innovative curriculum and creative activities to enhance student learning.

Duke Energy is dedicated to creating unique learning opportunities that help students explore energy and engineering concepts in schools and classrooms within the Duke Energy service area.

Every teacher has creative and innovative ideas to help their students engage in learning. Unfortunately, classroom budgets do not leave much for purchasing the supplies to bring those ideas to fruition. Each year, our classroom grant program provides teachers across Pasco County the financial resources they need to inspire learning amongst their students. Individual projects have a limit up to $1,000. Group projects may vary. Open August – Mid-September.

Geared toward school-wide and district-wide programs, Project L.E.A.D. matches a portion of private contributions to fund needs in the following impact areas: STEM Education, Literacy, Low-performing Students, Teaching Quality/Professional Development, Career/Technical Education (CTE), and Increasing Graduation Rates. This form is for all requests over $1,000 and must meet requirements for state reporting, including a mid-year status update, and year-end review. Open year-round.

Suncoast Credit Union wants to continue their investment in student learning and make a positive, long-term impact at your school! For school-wide projects that use innovative and creative curriculum, and special activities. Awards up to $5,000. Open August – September 30.

Duke Energy is partnering with the Pasco Education Foundation to provide unique learning opportunities for students to explore energy and engineering concepts in Duke Energy service area schools. To see a list of their Pasco County serviced schools click here. We wanted to share important changes regarding our board-approved “special funds requests” policy. Due to budget constraints, we highly encourage you to submit your requests for the year at this time. Departments requesting assistance for food and staff incentives will be limited, and priority will be given to student-centered functions. Monetary support will only be granted in gift card form. Your department representative will be responsible for coordinating, purchasing, and arranging pick-up/delivery of items.

Gift card purchases will need to submit purchase receipts to the Foundation.

Please submit all requests a minimum of 4 weeks before the event.
