Scholarships
Who is eligible?
Students must meet the economic eligibility guidelines established by the State of Florida for free/reduced lunch status. Click here for the 2011-2012 income eligibility guidelines.
Obligations include:
- Attend school on a regular basis
- Maintain a minimum of a "C" or 2.0 GPA
- Demonstrate positive behavior, in and out of school
- Meet with a volunteer mentor on a regular basis
- Remain crime and drug free
- Graduate from a Florida high school
What do selected students receive?
Type of scholarship awarded may include:
- A college tuition scholarship
- A volunteer mentor to provide motivation and support
- A student advocate to support the students' educational achievement
- College and career counseling
How do I apply?- Applications will be available starting the week of October 24, 2011
- Deadline for applications to be received is December 15, 2011 by 4:00 pm
- Selection will be announced no later than March 31, 2012
