Employee and Student Scholarships

Last year the Pasco Education Foundation administered over $115,000 in scholarships. If your company is interested in awarding a scholarship, the Foundation will gladly assist you in the process. Our scholarship program is tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements you desire for your specific scholarship.

$$$ Goal: Unlimited

Notes: If you choose the Foundation to administer your scholarship, your company will maintain exclusive naming rights for your scholarship, as well as the right to establish and select your recipients. The money for your scholarship will be distributed through the Pasco Education Foundation, Inc.

Take Stock In Children

Each year seventh grade students are selected to receive a 2 + 2 scholarship (two years of community college and two years at a university) through the Take Stock In Children Program. Students are selected based upon financial need and certain at-risk characteristics. Students receiving the scholarship pledge to stay drug and crime free, maintain good grades and good attendance. If they have kept their pledge at the end of their high school career, they are then eligible to activate their 2 + 2 Florida Pre-Paid Scholarship.

$$$ Goal:

The Foundation provides matching dollars for each contribution. Your contribution of up to $5,000 will be matched by the Foundation to purchase one Florida Pre-Paid Scholarship valued at approximately $9,600.

Notes: Companies, community service groups, or individuals are encouraged to participate in this worthwhile program. Upon the receipt of the money to cover the scholarship, sponsors are paired with individual students and appropriate public recognition is given to the sponsor at School Board meetings.
